Volunteer positions include: registration of projects; clerical; help students find tables, etc.; display and safety checks; project setup; registration of judges at breakfast and judging assistant - mostly running errands for judges; HUB attendees; greeters; pin & t-shirt sales; visitor counts; hall monitors; awards ceremonies; and whatever else comes up.

PARKING

Parking is free for Volunteers-please let the guard know you are a SARSEF Volunteer OR park at the Exhibit Hall Loading Zone (off of Cushing Street) and enter thru the one open back door.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Monday, March 12th starting at 7:30 AM thru 10:00 PM  Some volunteers needed for heavy lifting in first 2-3 hours, as well as helium balloon fillers and table-labelers. The rest of the day (starting at noon, will then be helping with set-up and student/project registration and inspection. The latest hours will be attaching bar codes on to each of 1300+ projects for judging the next day.

Tuesday, March 13 starting at 7:30 AM thru 6:00 PM
  Early in day you will be registering judges, directing and assisting them,. Some willing volunteers may be asked to fill in for judges that do not show. Later in day, volunteers will assist in removing bar codes from all 1300+ projects.

Wednesday, March 14th 7:30 AM thru 9:00PM  During the day, volunteers will help at HUB giving directions to visitors/field trips on where to find projects. In evening, volunteers will help with Future Innovators Night event giving directions to areas, calling attention to raffle prizes, keeping a rough count of visitors at door.

Thursday, March 15th 07:30 AM thru 8:00PM    During the day, volunteers will help at HUB giving directions to visitors/field trips on where to find projects during day, and help at Sales table. In the evening, volunteers will do the same during the Awards Ceremony as well as  checking out of projects.

Friday, March 16th 7:30 AM thru 9:00PM
 During the day, volunteers will help at HUB giving directions to visitors/field trips on where to find projects during day, and help at Sales table. In the evening volunteers will do the same during Awards Ceremony and check out projects.

Saturday, March 17th 7:30 thru 3:00 PM
  Some volunteers needed for heavy lifting throughout day to tear down event, carry boxes to trucks. Other volunteers are needed throughout the day for project check-out/form organization. This year we will be collecting project boards, writing a list of project numbers and taking them to a location – we need a list maker!
