SARSEF Volunteers (Engineers and Scientists) will visit schools throughout the year, anywhere in Southern Arizona, at no cost.
Our primary purpose is to promote the science and engineering fair, but we are willing to talk about almost any topic involving science, engineering, and high technology careers, as you require.
Visits most often requested:
- With Teacher-Parent meetings, day or evening (from 15 min to one hour)
- With the Principal's Faculty meetings (from 15 min to one hour)
- With Teacher and Students in the Class Room (45 -50 min)
- With Students in Assembly in Library, cafeteria or similar room (40 to 50 min)
We are Flexible! Our purpose is to help both the teacher and the student prepare good science fair projects, as well as to encourage kids to consider the many varied options available to those with science training and understanding.
